Pennsylvania Department of Education approved Act 45 program for 40 PIL Hours
The Shifting the Mindset, participants are guided through five modules that include the Mass Customized Learning Vision, Strategic Design, Research on Motivation and Engagement, Break-thoughts...Paradigm Shifts and Enabling Culture. The learners will understand and be able to articulate why a shifting mindset is critical to better-preparing learners for their future.
Participants are required to select integrated activities that will lead to increased student achievement and adult performance. When school teams focus on a few, high-leverage strategies using a cohesive system of leadership, increased student achievement is the result. As a culminating project during the "Evidence Fair," participants will provide data showing how their selected initiative led to increased student achievement and discuss the challenges of implementation.

Engaging in the blended-learning (in-class & virtual) environment

Embedding activities into daily practice

Presenting a culminating project at an "Evidence Fair" during the final in-class session
The main objective of the MCL program is to transform the current industrial age model of education to a customized/personalized model that empowers the learner and the adult. The program is developed to provide content (research & practice) as exemplars and opportunities to embed learning into practice while, contributing to a professional learning community. The program embraces innovation, use of data, evaluation, and the transformation of education that empowers the students as well as the professionals. It promotes collaboration and how to live the life of a "Total Leader."
